It’s time to celebrate the leaders and changemakers making an impact in and for our community.
Meridian invites nominations from community members for two important awards that recognise those leading change, sparking dialogue and uplifting HIV, LGBTIQA+ and sex worker communities and issues in the ACT. Nominate today to help us recognise and celebrate those who lead, amplify, and inspire.
Award recipients will be announced at the Meridian Annual General Meeting on Monday 17 November 2025.
❤️Community Leadership Award
The Community Leadership Award recognises an individual, group or organisation who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, vision, and commitment to making a positive impact for the HIV, LGBTIQA+ or sex worker community. This award honours those who lead by example, amplifying voices and issues, mobilising others toward collective action. We want to recognise leaders in our community who model inclusivity, resilience, and empower others.
⭐Media Award
The Media Award recognises significant contributions to raising awareness of issues of importance to one or more of the communities Meridian serves. This award honours individuals, groups or organisations whose work has informed, inspired, and mobilised their audiences, contributing to greater public understanding and meaningful dialogue.
