Meridian is here to help people impacted by HIV, Sexually diverse people, Trans and gender diverse people and Sex workers. We support our communities at all stages in life take control of their sexual health by providing information, workshops and a range of support services to inform, educate and arm you with the knowledge you need to keep your sex life healthy.

Our message to you is simple – Know your sexual health status. Know your risks and manage your sex life with confidence. Protect yourself and your sexual partners. With the right information, the right advice and the right people to talk to, you can significantly reduce your risk of HIV, an STI, or passing these on to a sexual partner.

Meridian is a secondary NSP. We provide pre-packaged 8-packs as well as sharps disposal containers.

This paper was developed by Meridian in consultation with community members and service providers, including the Canberra Inclusive Partnership’s Service User Reference Group, YWCA Canberra, ACT Shelter and Havelock Housing. Meridian acknowledges the existing body of work done by national and international researchers into the issue of LGBTIQA+ homelessness, which has informed many of the recommendations within this paper.
