Learn about the new CONNECT vending machines at Meridian, providing free HIV self-test kits.

This free session for community workers and allied health professionals will include:

• Brief HIV snapshot (recent diagnoses, ACT context, testing landscape, priority populations, prevention and treatment)
• Overview of the CONNECT program and national rollout
• ACT vending machine (location, how it works, access)
• How to use a self-test kit (including video demonstration, window periods, accuracy, limitations and reactive results)
• Talking to clients (how to introduce it, reducing stigma, when and where to refer, further support).
