Peer-led Groups
Peer-led groups provide you with an opportunity to meet, talk to and learn from other people living with HIV. We believe that social inclusion is vital for good physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Our peer support activities include:
Peer Support Network
Peer Support Network (PSN) is our longest-running support group for people living with HIV. Held monthly and open by invitation to all people living with HIV, PSN’s peer-led events provide people living with HIV the chance to come together, connect and share. Events include dinners, excursions and social events.
To be included on our invitation list, please contact the HIV Peer Navigator on 02 6257 2855 or complete our contact form.
Women’s Support Group
Our invitation-only Women’s Support Group allows women living with HIV to share experiences in a safe, peer-led environment. Supported by Canberra Sexual Health Centre, group events are held in family-friendly venues to allow participants the space and time to connect while reducing barriers to participation.
If you would like to know about upcoming events, please contact the HIV Peer Navigator on 02 6257 2855 or complete our contact form.
