For over 40 years, Meridian has led the way to responding to health issues affecting LGBTQ+ people, sex workers and people living and impacted by with HIV. As an organisation that was born out of crisis, we know what it takes to ensure our communities are healthy, safe, supported and connected.
Today, we continue to provide support and assistance to vulnerable members of our communities. However, much of this work is not financially supported by government and we rely on donations to keep them going.
Times are tough, and many in our community are doing it harder than ever. Rising costs, social isolation and ongoing health challenges mean that vulnerable members of our LGBTQ+ communities, sex workers and people living with HIV need our support more than ever.
