About this event
To celebrate International Transgender Day of Visibility, The Junction in conjunction with Meridian, CRCS, Headspace Canberra and Tuggeranong, and AGA, and YWCA are running a clothing swap. There will be sticker making, jewelry making sessions, badges and pins, and much more!
This free event is for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community aged 12-25. Bring in clothes and accessories to swap with other people in the community.
Event starts at 3 for a 3:30 start! We'll be making coffees and hanging out beforehand, so come along even if you're not swapping!
For those who haven’t attended a clothes swap before -
- Everyone brings a couple of items of clothing that they’re happy to part with. These items must be clean, in good condition and worthy to swap (no underwear)
- Also bring accessories, hats and shoes to swap too.
- When swapping clothes, be considerate to others if you’re taking a lot of items.
- All leftover items will be donated.
