Researchers at UNSW are conducting a project about the experiences of migrant gay and bisexual men who have recently arrived in Australia, specifically their perceptions and experiences of using HIV and sexual health services in Australia.
The research study is looking recruit people who meet the following criteria:
- ≥18 years old.
- Male (this includes cisgender and transgender men).
- Identifies as gay or bisexual or is a man who has sex with men.
- Was born overseas and lives in Australia.
- Is a recent migrant e.g. has lived in Australia for less than 5 years
- Can express their opinions in English or Mandarin.
Participants will be asked to complete an online or telephone Interview that will take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete.
About the interview
The interview is open to gay and bisexual men and non-binary people who migrated to Australia less than five years ago, who are aged 18 and above, and live in Australia. The confidential interview will take about one hour, via Zoom/Teams or by phone, in English or Mandarin. You can register your interest using this form.
