It is a distinct privilege to provide our members with this report on behalf of the Council’s Board and staff. It clearly demonstrates our record of service delivery to the community, our strong financial position, and the effective governance that guides our day-to-day operations in HIV prevention and improving the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQ+ communities.
For almost 30 years, reducing HIV transmissions has been our core mission, and it will continue to be the emphasis of our work. We are very pleased to report continued remarkable success in this area. Not only are HIV transmission rates dropping, the health and wellbeing of people living with and impacted by HIV is dramatically improving. The Council has been front and centre on the path to making this a reality. However, there is still a long way to go.
