The Canberra Inclusive Partnership, formerly known as the CBR LGBTIQ Community Consortium is a new, multi-year initiative funded by the ACT Government that will contribute to a community where LGBTIQ+ people are healthier, more resilient, and have a stronger community identity, improved social capital and increased connection. The Partnership currently includes the following organisations:
- A Gender Agenda (AGA)
- Northside Community Service (Northside)
- Sexual Health & Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT)
If you would like to know more about the Canberra Inclusive Partnership, please contact us or call on 02 6257 2855 during business hours.
As part of Meridian’s work with the Canberra Inclusive Partnership (CIP), Meridian coordinates a Service User Reference Group (SURG) to provide advice and input on the provision of our services. Our CIP agencies include Northside Community Service, A Gender Agenda (AGA) and Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT).
LGBTIQ+ Business & Community Directory
In partnership with Canberra’s local LGBTIQ+ publication Fuse Magazine, the Canberra Inclusive Partnership has produced a handy guide to help our community connect with many vital services, social groups, and local businesses. Free copies are available at Meridian or from any of our partners and participating businesses. The directory can be found here.
