How We Work
Meridian Wellbeing Services are a leader in the provision of professional counselling services to the LGBTIQA+ community, their families and allies.
We recognise that from time to time, LGBTIQA+ people, our families, carers and allies may need additional professional and confidential help and support with personal or work-related issues that affect health, well-being, or job performance.
Meridian aims to provide a specialised community-focused human experience that enhances the emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing of all clients.
Our qualified team of counsellors, psychologists and social workers provide confidential services for LGBTIQA+ people and their families, carers and allies who are seeking to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
Meridian Wellbeing Services are professional, safe, inclusive, LGBTIQA+ affirming and compassionate.
Our services are delivered in alignment with principles of informed consent, duty of care responsibilities, trauma informed practice, and are accredited to the National Standards for Mental Health Services (NSMHS).
Many of our team members are peers, and all counsellors are qualified, competent, trained and experienced working in therapeutic settings with the LGBTIQA+ community.
We welcome enquiries from members of the community over the age of 15, regardless of gender, sex, sexual orientation, cultural background, religious belief or economic circumstances.
