Counselling is available to all members of the LGBTIQ+ community and their allies over the age of 15 years, regardless of difference, gender, sexual orientation, lifestyle choice, cultural background, religious belief or economic circumstances.
We are funded to provide free counselling for people living with HIV or impacted by HIV. Counselling services are also free to those holding a valid Centrelink concession card or Healthcare card.
If you don’t have a Centrelink Concession or Healthcare card then we have a low cost fee-for-service model that is based on your annual income. Your Counsellor will discuss affordability with you at your first appointment.
The fee is not subject to rebate through Medicare
We also have a free program of psychological and social work services if you meet the eligibility criteria below:
- You identify as LGBTIQ+ or exploring or questioning your identity
- You are 16 years of age or over
- You Live/work/study in the ACT
- You have a Mental Health Treatment Plan or open to be supported to get one
